What is a memory screen?
A memory screen is a wellness tool that helps identify possible changes in memory and cognition.
It creates a baseline of where a person is at so that future changes can be monitored.
Price? How long a screen takes?
FREE! Roughly 5-10 minutes!
The ADRC of Jackson County provides Memory Screens to persons over 60 to promote the early diagnosis of memory impairments.
Nearly 50% of persons with dementia go undiagnosed or treated. If they were to have been diagnosed early, the progression of dementia symptoms can be slowed.
Remember the screens are voluntary!
You will receive the results once they are calculated; if you like we can even share the results with your physician.
If you are interested in receiving a FREE memory screen and are from the Jackson County; 60 or older; please call the ADRC at 715.284.3978.
