Roles and Responsibilities

The presentation below shares the result of an assessment of Community Health Worker (CHW) standards and guidelines from states and selects other sources throughout the US. Most essential among these is “CHW’s connection to the community served.” The CHW roles and skills lists presented here were refined by more than 20 US CHW networks with an aim of assuring that they reflect CHW practice as defined by CHWs.
