DESCRIPTION:B-Home Services and Supplies Hosts Grief Support Group \n A Grief Support Group for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one will be meeting for six weeks beginning February 25\, 2021. The in-person meetings will run Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at B-Home Services and Supplies\, 311 County Highway A\, Black River Falls. There will also be an option to attend the meetings virtually. There is no cost to attend the sessions. \nMaterial and information on the grieving process will be shared with the participants. These sessions will provide those who have lost a loved one the chance to meet with others who are feeling the same sense of loss. Kevin Newell\, BRMH Hospice Chaplain stated\, “Grief can be very powerful and overwhelming. We encourage anyone who has lost a loved one to attend. These sessions can help sort out all the feelings one experiences during the grieving process.” Participants will come away with tools to help them to move forward. Attendees are encouraged to bring a photo of their loved one to display throughout the sessions. \nDue to COVID-19\, wearing of face masks is required. If not\, now’s the time. \nJackson County Public Health will be offering flu shots for all ages. Flu shots for adults are $30.00 and free to any child under the age of 19. Flu shot clinics will be held at the Jackson County Health and Human Services Building in the Public Health department on October 12th ALL DAY.
