Wisconsin State Statute 85.21:  Specialized Transportation Assistance for Counties outlines the purpose and administration of transportation services for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Services are available to individuals age 60+ and/or disabled.  We have one 12-passenger bus with lift capability, and two mini-vans: one seven-passenger for ambulatory riders, and one 5-passenger wheelchair accessible.   Rides are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Jackson County Mini-Bus has regularly scheduled trips between Alma Center, Black River Falls, Hatfield, Hixton, Melrose, Merrillan, and Taylor.

Once a month the Mini-Bus makes shopping trips out of town.  These locations subject to change with prior notifications.
